Prayer walking Cities

When I first started the ministry, the Lord gave me instruction first to prayer walk Fresno. For some strange reason (H.S.) I had this burden for Fresno that I could not shake. I felt God wanted to do something special in the city where I was born and raised. The summer of 2007 I began the walk. I walked over a hundred miles in a year span. I would grab my map, outline a 3-5 mile square block,...

We believe Prayer is fundamental for effective collaboration and citywide transformation. A few years ago, we held a Sacred Regional Assembly. Christ-followers of all ages and denominations came together for 12 hours to worship and pray. Every two hours we had prayer focused for one of the seven spheres of influence. As you can see from the picture, we had a time of the fathers and mothers blessing the next...

Social Enterprise blesses children's ministry

Our desire is to see lives transformed who in turn transform communities. I had another aha moment a year ago while attending another class. For the longest time, I've had a desire to raise support for this ministry and others by having a business to support it. I realized this is what a social enterprise is. Social enterprises are different than regular businesses; they have a social mission in mind. "Their main objective is to make the world a bet...

Today I had an a-ha moment. For the longest time, I have struggled with fund raising. I often felt like a beggar, and believed if God really called me to this assignment, then it was up to Him to provide. I should not have to ask. However, I've also known, that I probably needed a new perspective.  I know it is not true that I am a beggar, but I needed to get Kingdom perspective. On my drive to to...

Spring 2015

The time is just flying by. Thank God for a little rain in the valley. We continue to pray for rain. Although we still pray for an office and prayer room in Fresno/Madera area, we still meet together for prayer in various places. We just joined Fresno NDP on May 7th . It was a blessing to see answered manifested prayer in downtown Fresno (new businesses and revitalization starting to happen). We had a p...

Fall/Winter Update: HOPE REFORMATION

When I think about the New Year, I am excited about NEW OPPORTUNITES and OPEN DOORS and I'm thankful for the last 7 years.

Although much of what we did the last 7 year season  was not as I expected, I believe we did what the Father called us to. I remember some years ago, being called out in a church by Bob Hartley, and he said, I'd "uniquely touch Fresno, call forth into a p...

It's been a wonderful summer of rest and refreshing. I was able to travel to OR to a family reunion and on the way back we visited fellow ministers in Redding. We also stopped in at the Tahoe House of Prayer and met with Christine the Directorl. The following week I attended the Glory School (xp ministries) in Bakersfield and met some new friends and fellow ministers. Last week my husband and I went to ...

GO FOR IT! Part 1, Entertainment

Over the years,  I've heard a few wonderful speakers/pastors/preachers share about the 7 mountains, and how we need to start viewing our jobs/workplace as ministry, however,  I've heard very little practical application on what we can do to become Kingdom influencers in these areas.

And because I'm a very practical person AND a have worked in the marketplace (public education) most of my life, it is something on my heart...

40 years later...

I recently received a ministry letter referring to how GOD was taken out of government, church, schools, etc. I was wondering, Was God really taken out? Or did we, the church leave? This is one of my messages I often share...(I know some may take offense, but it isn't my heart to do that.)

I often hear from the pulpit or some prayer gathering, how evil the...
