Today is March 4th and it is about 1:24, very close to the time I was born 61 years ago today.
As I sit here, redoing the website and reflecting on the last year, I am grateful for the many wonderful blessings in my life. I am thankful for a roof over my head and bread on the table. I am grateful for a bed to sleep in and a warm home. I am grateful for my family and friends.
I remember being excited last year about turning 60. I knew it was going to be a season of new things- in fact a New Era. On the first day while walking Jerusalem last year in Israel, I felt God say He was "hitting the reset button", I became excited. Although I had no idea what that would look like, I was anticipating new things. I had already gotten a new job in Jan. 2018, teaching EMLS at the local community college and I had just joined a company in May to learn more about business and financial literacy. I also had just hosted two Danish students which was a new expereince.
Strangely, God has been using my new work in the financial industry to work on developing new mindsets. I have been listening to new people and been so encouraged. I have found a new tribe of people to hang with. I have found a new way to help families and new tools (financial literacy) to educate and empower others. This was a Huge shift in my life and one I never saw coming. I'm loving it!
It was also a year of expanding business. The alpacas were an additional attraction to our airbnb hosting business and taking care of the animals was a new endeavor. (I'm a professional pooper scooper).
We also decided to move foward with building on our ranch. We grew hay on our 40 acres and had a beekeeper come on the property. We also got a well in and a few shipping containers. We hope this year to: get the pump in, septic, a few trees, and then a house. We look forward to moving our animals there and expanding business and ministry. (check out.www.aandmeranch.com)
So since last March 2018, a lot of NEW has happened. I have feeling it will continue to be an exciting journey.
I'm looking forward to Marching Forth!
