Last month (June), I was able to visit four HOP's in TX. One was in Arlington, the Storehouse in Dallas, Meleah in McKinney, and another one I can't remember the name of.
I love worshipping, being renewed at these oasis or watering holes and connecting with the ecclesia. Each time I go, I have a sense of hope that building and maintaining a HOP is doable.
Today, I am encouraged again, as I met with a pastor who recently moved in our area, because God had spoken to him to come. He is familar with HOP's and also has a desire to see on in our area. Did God bring him to help flame the fire to continue the process of having a HOP? I met him at the community worship morning at the YWAM base in Oakhurst. I thank God for divine connections.
I have hope again, that this HOP and center is going to happen. At times, we were located in a place a year or two, but no one place for very long. Although we knocked on many church doors to establish a place, not man of those doros were open. The requirement was to be a member or active participant int he church. I knew I just couldn't do that. I realized this was to be a place outside church walls.
My hope, is that the Central California (Hub/Epicenter), HOP will be established. I do know there are a few prayer rooms aroung the area at different churches, but what I envision is different. We continue to march forth.
